Today’s post is my Craft Your Passion Design Team Project and I am soo in love with it! Our sponsor this week was Rick St. Dennis and I think his images are fabulous. The image I used is Queen of Hearts Hat Digi.
I love this image so much I decided to create wall decor that i could put up in my craft room! I created my wall decor on 8 1/2 x 11 chipboard.
I layered Anna Griffin paper for my background and pop dotted the image for extra dimension. I added a black ribbon and tulle at the top so I could hang my project and also added a cluster of roses at the top.
I added tufts of black tulle and soft pink rosette trim at the bottom.
Instead of coloring up my image with my Copics and Spectrum Noirs, I decided to add color in Photoshop and then print my image. I love how it came out! I also added the sentiment at the bottom in Photoshop.
I know this project was a bit different for me but I hope you liked it!
You can still link up your project here and play along:
Today’s project share is a Christmas Explosion Box! I know I have said this before but I’ll say it again…I LOVE explosion boxes! They are so much fun and if you want to start gifting memories this is the easiest way to do it!
This explosion box is 4 x 4 inches when closed. I decorated it up just like a little present. I made a bow out of a gorgeous Poinsettia wire ribbon and a red and gold ribbon trim. I then add two Poinsettia’s to the top and a tag.
The paper collection i used is Olde Time Christmas by Craft Smith and it is just gorgeous!
I added a small Christmas tree with a string of lights in the center and it is surrounded by gifts.
There is one large gift in the center that is 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches and it opens where a small gift can be added. I also added a Merry Christmas sentiment and an ornament embellishment.
There are three layers to this explosion box and I added an additional four flaps for additional journaling or for messages.
These boxes come together so quickly and they are small enough to add pictures and notes quickly. They are the perfect way to gift memories.
Hi Everyone, Today’s project share is my design team project for Craft Your Passion. Our sponsor for this challenge was Imagine That/Digis by Kris and the image I used was Bee Girl.
I love, love, love how this card came out! Did I tell you I loved it? Lol. Okay, but really it is so cute!
The paper I used was Pebbles: Garden Party. I purchased it at Tuesday Morning for $6.99. What a steal. It is a Medium Weight 12 x 12 paper pack.
I colored up my image with my Spectrum Noirs and I add shimmer to the wings with Wink of Stella and Stickles. I also used my jelly pens to give the center of the Sunflower and Bee outfit a tiny but of sparkle and dimension. Lastly, I added a gingham bow and some enamel dots.
Hi Everyone, I started working on Father’s Day cards and love this little box card that is a tool box from SVGCuts.
I used my Anna Griffin Minc to silver foil the tools and I think they came out so cute.
I have even decided to personalize this little card by adding a name to the top of the tool box. I won’t add the personalized tool box here because it is still a surprise!
On the back is a space for a message and I add a tiny Handmade stamp. Both stamps I used are from CTMH. Do you want a little tool box card? I am still taking orders until the end of this week! Thanks for stopping by!
