Going Batty Witch’s Boot

| Halloween, Sincerely,Rina, Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers

Hi Friends!

I am back today with my first Halloween project of the season. I have been wanting to make some Halloween projects but hadn’t found much time. However, the Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers inspired me to get a move on.

This week’s challenge is H is for Pink Halloween! You can find all their challenges here.

So here we go! I whipped up this adorbs witches boot from Lori Whitlock. I got the file in the Silhouette store.

It’s not nearly as much pink as I normally would have liked but I love this paper. And the little bat ears have just the right amount of pink.

The collection is one of my own, Spooktacular Halloween. I embellished the shoelaces with a little witch’s broom. These are actually little broom sticks I bought for my sister’s Harry Potter baby shower repurposed for the perfect boot charm.

This boot is super cute. I added some ruffled crepe paper, light purple tulle and little bats to the inside. I also have a gold clothespin holding the word Spooky to the boot. That’s it for my embellishments!

I hope you enjoyed my project & thanks so much for stopping by!

Alice in Wonderland Pop Up Card

| card making, Graphic 45, greeting cards, Pop Up Card

Hey Friends Hey!

I hope your Saturday is going great! I have a fun, fun project to share with you today. I am guest designing for the Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers for the E is for Evil challenge.

Before I get to my project, I just have to comment on how much I laughed at this image. Every time I see it, I just laugh. LOL

Okay, okay. Now on to the project. I really like the Evil Queens for some reason, sometimes I think they are just misunderstood. You know, like in the musical, “Wicked”; the wicked witch is really the good gal.

For my project, my evil character is the Queen of Hearts. She’s on the inside of this super fun Alice in Wonderland card.

The paper I used is Graphic 45- Halloween in Wonderland. I love this paper and have been saving it for quite awhile.

And here is my fun pop up on the inside. I’ve been wanting to make a pop up for a mini album for awhile but decided to just jump into it for this challenge.

I love this card! I hope you enjoyed it to.

Make sure to play along over at the Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers. You can find all of their fun, snarky challenges here.

Hello Friends!

I am back with my first blog post of 2020 and what better way to start then with some snark!

Here is a card I whipped up for the “H is for Headache” challenge over at the Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers.

This is a 4 x 5 1/2 inch card. The paper I used was DCWV Vintage Collector. I also used a vintage image from the Hungry JPEG.

I added dimension using pop dots and embellished with sequins, a paper clip and a button.

I added more snark on the inside of the card!

I hope you like my 1st sassy card of the new year. You can find all of the snarky craft challenges for the Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers here:

Sew Crafty

| crafty gal, crafty mom, Cricut Explore, Graphic 45, Sewing, Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers

Hello Friends!

I’m back with an adorable mini sewing machine!!! I just can’t get over how cute it is and love that it also has a little box on the bottom where you can add goodies or small items.

The sewing machine is actually an SVG from the Cutting Cafe called the Sewing Machine Kit and you can find it here.

The paper collection I used is from Graphic 45- Time to Celebrate. It is an older collection but is just gorgeous.

I embellished my little machine with dimensional pearl pop dots, a rosette embellishment, thread and tulle.

I thought this sewing machine would be perfect for the “R is for Rip” challenge over at the Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers. I immediately thought of sewing when I read rip… well okay maybe it was my second thought lol.

You can find the Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers here.

I hope you enjoyed my project & thanks for stopping by!

Sand Pail Treat Holder

| crafty gal, Silhouette, Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers

Hello Friends!

It seems like everyone I know is going on vacation so I whipped up this super cute sand pail treat holder.

The cut file for the Sand Pail came from the Silhouette Studio. It is called the “Sand Pail Shaped Box” by Lori Whitlock. It was super quick and easy to put together.

I cut an extra piece of the front of the pail to make an insert to add a sassy message. Right now my little pail is filled with white glitter tulle and some ticket stubs but I plan to add some treats.

I decorated the pail by inking the edges, adding some layers with a star, ticket stubs and tag. On my tag I stamped “Vacation 1 Mile,” which is a Close to My Heart Stamp called the Long Way Home. Lastly, I added a cute Good Times button and a tiny clothespin.

This is also my project share for the Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers: S is for Sea! I would love to be lounging on the beach right now!

You can find all of their fun challenges here.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Whatever Life..

| Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers

Hello Friends!

I have a super EXTRA card to share with you today. I found a new blog with weekly challenges and they are snarky and fun. So today’s project share is a card I made for the Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers Challenge #137- M is for Menopause.

I made a slim easel card that measures 3 x 6 inches. I added extra dimension by adding an additional 3 x 6 layer card on top and popped it on top diagonally.

I used a Housewife Image I got from Hungry Jpeg and the paper collection is a combination but mostly papers from Fancy Pants Designs- Flutter Collection.

There is space on the inside for more “snark” and to write in a message. The card fully extended measures 3 x 12 inches.

If you’d like to enter the challenge, there is still time and you can find this oh so awesome blog here:

I hope you enjoyed my project! Thanks so much for stopping by.
