Today I am sharing two cards I made for the B is for the Birds & the Bees Challenge on the Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers blog. I found this fun blog a few weeks ago and I just love making cards with a little sass.
Both of the cards I made are pocket cards and they measure 5 x 5 inches each.
I added blank tags on the inside with lots of space to write a message.
The images I used are vintage images I found on Pinterest. I added a bit of sass in the messages on each card.
The paper collection I used was the Petticoats & Pinstripes collection by Lori Whitlock/Echo Park.
I decorated each card with a flower cluster, tulle and pearl dots.
Lastly, I created dimension by adding pop dots to multiple layers of each card.
Today I am sharing a scrapbook layout I created for my youngest nice. I love scrapbooking memories and gifting memory gifts so this is the start of her album.
I absolutely love how dimensional this layout is and her pics are just so stinkin’ cute.
The paper collection I used was Sweet Girl by Lori Whitlock. I used some of the stickers that were included for embellishment. I just added them on top of white card stock, then fussy cut them out and pop dotted them for extra dimension.
This is also my layout for the Bows & Tassels Challenge for The Studio Challenges. You can still play along and can find the challenge blog here.
I hope you enjoyed my project & thanks for stopping by!
I have a super EXTRA card to share with you today. I found a new blog with weekly challenges and they are snarky and fun. So today’s project share is a card I made for the Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers Challenge #137- M is for Menopause.
I made a slim easel card that measures 3 x 6 inches. I added extra dimension by adding an additional 3 x 6 layer card on top and popped it on top diagonally.
I used a Housewife Image I got from Hungry Jpeg and the paper collection is a combination but mostly papers from Fancy Pants Designs- Flutter Collection.
There is space on the inside for more “snark” and to write in a message. The card fully extended measures 3 x 12 inches.
If you’d like to enter the challenge, there is still time and you can find this oh so awesome blog here:
I hope you enjoyed my project! Thanks so much for stopping by.
I have a fun project share for you today which is also my card for the Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop.
The theme was Spring/Summer and although the lady in the image I used is wearing a sweater I am positive it’s probably because its cold inside the coffee shop.
I created a 6 x 6 card with a gorgeous image from Krista Smith. You may love Krista’s designs as much as I do and remember her designs as Saturated Canary. The image I used is the Once A Month Image April 2019. You can find it in her Etsy Shop: Shop Krista Smith here.
The paper collection I used is from my very own collection, Magic Bean and you can find that here.
I colored up the image with my Copic and Spectrum Noir markers. I wanted the card to be dimensional so added a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 and 5 x 5 layers on pop dots and then an oval cutout for the image with more pop dots.
The sentiment stamp I used “Instant Smile in a cup” is from the Greeting Farm, Mini-Remix Brewtiful.
Lastly, I embellished the card with some gold sequins and a tulle bow and brown cord bow.
I really enjoyed coloring up this image and making a card with less embellishments but more dimension with all the layers.
I have a brand new tutorial for you that you can use for your Halloween goodies or really anytime of the year.
It is a Pocket Tag Mini Album that has a ton of space on the cover to fit goodies as well as two pockets on the inside. There is also room for you to add flaps or additional pockets inside or on the back.
Of course because it’s Halloween I wanted to get right into adding something a little spooky and added a tutorial for a Mini Ghost Pinata. I think this may be how I send treats to my nieces and nephews this year since it is cute enough to give as a gift but small enough that it isn’t too much candy!
You will find the full tutorial below as well as SVG’s you can use in your die cutting machine and PDF templates for the tags you can cut out as well.
I’m back! I know it has been a long time since I added a blog post but I am planning to get more consistent again. If you follow my Youtube channel you have seen new tutorials just not new blog posts so here is the first one back!
A member in my FB VIP group sent me a picture of this Mini Keurig from Pinterest and asked if I could re-create this and of course I said yes. So here it is!
This Mini Keurig Inspired Treat Holder is large enough to hold a 4oz Expresso Cup that you can absolutely fill with treats. You can also add a little pocket to the back to add a gift card or a note card.
It is 4 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide. The paper I used is my new Magic Bean Designer Paper. You can find it in my Etsy Shop! The Stamp I used is Perk Up from My Favorite Things.
Here is the tutorial and the PDF pattern pieces so you can make one of these adorable treat holders for yourself!
I have a different type of project share for you today! It is a freebie printable! Here is an adorbs Unicorn Daily Planner sheet.
The Unicorn Daily Planner is a great way to organize your day with a super cute layout.
Want a break down of all the sections?
Here it is:
Brain Dump: Use this section to jot down all those thoughts, ideas and to do’s in your head. Get them all on to paper here!
Must Do’s: This section is for you to list everything you need to get accomplished today. I know there are a bunch of things you want to do but you can’t do them all. What do you absolutely need to get done today.
Schedule for later: Did you write something down in your brain dump section that you need to get on your calendar. Write it down here. Maybe you need to remind yourself of an upcoming deadline or that you need to schedule an appointment. These are tasks that don’t need to be done today but you want to keep track of.
Delegate: It’s so hard to let go! But that is exactly what this section is for. You should do things every day only you can do. If there is something that you know you need to give someone else then do it. Pass along those things you should not be doing.
Appointments for today: This is just what it says. Write down all those appointments or errands you have scheduled for today.
Move to tomorrow’s To Do’s: Even with the best to do list and most organized day sometimes you just can’t get it all done because well, life happens. These are to do’s that you had scheduled for today that you need to move to tomorrow’s list.
