Alice in Wonderland Pop Up Card

| card making, Graphic 45, greeting cards, Pop Up Card

Hey Friends Hey!

I hope your Saturday is going great! I have a fun, fun project to share with you today. I am guest designing for the Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers for the E is for Evil challenge.

Before I get to my project, I just have to comment on how much I laughed at this image. Every time I see it, I just laugh. LOL

Okay, okay. Now on to the project. I really like the Evil Queens for some reason, sometimes I think they are just misunderstood. You know, like in the musical, “Wicked”; the wicked witch is really the good gal.

For my project, my evil character is the Queen of Hearts. She’s on the inside of this super fun Alice in Wonderland card.

The paper I used is Graphic 45- Halloween in Wonderland. I love this paper and have been saving it for quite awhile.

And here is my fun pop up on the inside. I’ve been wanting to make a pop up for a mini album for awhile but decided to just jump into it for this challenge.

I love this card! I hope you enjoyed it to.

Make sure to play along over at the Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers. You can find all of their fun, snarky challenges here.

Sassy New Mommy Cards

| craft life, crafty gal, greeting cards, Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers

Hi Friends,

Today I am sharing two cards I made for the B is for the Birds & the Bees Challenge on the Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers blog. I found this fun blog a few weeks ago and I just love making cards with a little sass.

Both of the cards I made are pocket cards and they measure 5 x 5 inches each.

I added blank tags on the inside with lots of space to write a message.

The images I used are vintage images I found on Pinterest. I added a bit of sass in the messages on each card.

The paper collection I used was the Petticoats & Pinstripes collection by Lori Whitlock/Echo Park.

I decorated each card with a flower cluster, tulle and pearl dots.

Lastly, I created dimension by adding pop dots to multiple layers of each card.

This was a fun challenge and you can still play along at the Sisterhood of the Snarky Stamper blog here.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my cards!

Instant Smile In A Cup: Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop

| card making, Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, craft life, crafty gal, greeting cards

Happy Friday!

I have a fun project share for you today which is also my card for the Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop.

The theme was Spring/Summer and although the lady in the image I used is wearing a sweater I am positive it’s probably because its cold inside the coffee shop.

I created a 6 x 6 card with a gorgeous image from Krista Smith. You may love Krista’s designs as much as I do and remember her designs as Saturated Canary. The image I used is the Once A Month Image April 2019. You can find it in her Etsy Shop: Shop Krista Smith here.

The paper collection I used is from my very own collection, Magic Bean and you can find that here.

I colored up the image with my Copic and Spectrum Noir markers. I wanted the card to be dimensional so added a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 and 5 x 5 layers on pop dots and then an oval cutout for the image with more pop dots.

The sentiment stamp I used “Instant Smile in a cup” is from the Greeting Farm, Mini-Remix Brewtiful.

Lastly, I embellished the card with some gold sequins and a tulle bow and brown cord bow.

I really enjoyed coloring up this image and making a card with less embellishments but more dimension with all the layers.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

I colored up my image with my Spectrum Noirs and I add shimmer to the wings with Wink of Stella and Stickles.

I also used my jelly pens to give the center of the Sunflower and Bee outfit a tiny but of sparkle and dimension.

Lastly, I added a gingham bow and some enamel dots.

I hope you enjoyed my project!
