Scrapbook Love

| craft life, crafty gal, paper craft, scrapbooking

Hi Friends!

Today I am sharing a scrapbook layout I created for my youngest nice. I love scrapbooking memories and gifting memory gifts so this is the start of her album.

I absolutely love how dimensional this layout is and her pics are just so stinkin’ cute.

The paper collection I used was Sweet Girl by Lori Whitlock. I used some of the stickers that were included for embellishment. I just added them on top of white card stock, then fussy cut them out and pop dotted them for extra dimension.

This is also my layout for the Bows & Tassels Challenge for The Studio Challenges. You can still play along and can find the challenge blog here.

Traditional Dutch Fold Card Tutorial

| Dutch Fold Card, greeting card, paper craft, Tutorial

Hi Everyone!

Today’s project share & tutorial is a Traditional Dutch Fold Card. This is a super easy and super quick way to make a Dutch Fold Card. You can whip up the base and then get right to the embellishing!

For this card you only need 3 pieces of card stock for the base and there is very little cutting or measuring!

The paper collection I used for this card is Tea Party and it was a Michael’s Hot Buy a year or so ago. My base is made out of kraft cardstock and I used a Martha Stewart lace edge punch on my edges.

I fussy cut out a birdcage from the collection, added tulle, twine and flowers. I added stickles to the flower edges for a bit of sparkle.

Here is the tutorial so you can make your own:

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Craft Your Passion Design Team Project- Mix Media Girl

| card making, craft your passion, Little Blue Button, paper craft, scrapbooking

Hi Everyone!

Today’s project is my design team project for Craft Your Passion. Our sponsor this week is Little Blue Button and the image I used was Mix Media Girl.

I colored her up with my Spectrum Noirs and add some shimmer to her earring with Stickles.

I love the animal print designer paper. I added some embellishment with a purple ribbon and some sequins. My sentiment is a stamp I picked up at my local craft store.

Make sure to link  your project up here:

I hope you enjoyed my project & thanks for stopping by!

Happy Creating!

Easy Peasey Scrapbooking Series- Project One: Instalife

| CTMH, easy scrapbooking, Instalife, mini albums, paper craft, scrapbooking

Hi Everyone!

Today is the start of the Easy Peasey Scrapbooking Series with the first project being Instalife. Haven’t heard of Instalife yet? Well get ready because it is awesome.

The supplies I used for my project are:
CTMH Instalife Album
Memory Protector Mini 4×4
Memory Protector Mini 2×2
Colorful Me Cards
& Pictures of course!

Instalife is probably the best & easiest way to start scrapbooking. The cards are adorable and they don’t repeat over and over like some of the scrapbooking kits you get at your local craft store.

Plus, the cards, the album and the memory protectors are not only high quality but you can create your entire album for about $23.00! That is a great deal!

The album I am creating today is for my niece who is turning 5 in April. Not only is my gift less expensive then I would have normally spent, it’s sentimental value is beyond measure. I am sure she and her parents will love it!

Here is the tutorial for my Instalife Project:
