Ballerina Rosette Garland

| Uncategorized

I am in love with ballet and all things ballet. I luckily have a tiny niece who shares my enthusiasm and who is starting her second year of ballet.

Last year, her birthday theme was pink ballerinas and the garland I created today is a rendition of that garland. My Ballerina Rosette Garland is approximately 65 inches in length.

Each rosette has a white doily background layered on top of a purple background. Each ballerina has a purple tulle skirt and if the focal point of each rosette.
I used purple grosgrain ribbon and each rosette is spaced at 7 inches apart.
This was so much fun to make. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Poinsettia Box Card

| Uncategorized

The count down to Christmas continues and here is my next Christmas card. It is the Poinsettia Box Card from SVG Cuts. I love how simple it was to put together and think I may be making a few more of these tonight.

And of course like all SVG Cuts box cards, it comes with its own envelope that the card folds up into nicely.
Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas is too close!

| Uncategorized

Is today really December 21st?! I don’t know about you but not only is my Christmas shopping not done but my handmade crafty gifts are just coming to fruition…well in my mind.

As I go down and check off the lucky recipients of my handmade love, I decided to start with something quick that will go well for all those on my list getting gift cards, cash or just a Christmas wish.

My project today were Christmas pocket cards in their own box card holder. The box card holder also has a magnetic closure.

The box card holder fits 8 pocket cards with a little extra room for some candy canes or Hershey kisses. This would also be an ideal gift to give!

My plan is to give out most of the pocket cards and then keep one card in the box and add a little gift.

I made each pocket card out cardstock I cut down to 6×6 and added a white mat on the front and matted Christmas cardstock on the back. I also punched an eyelet hole at the top and added a little decorative ribbon.
Then I stamped each card with Merry Christmas. I’ll write a little note on the card and then add a gift card to each one.
I was going to add more embellishments to the front of each pocket card but I thought the paper was just too cute to cover up!

I have a more Christmas projects to come. I hope you enjoyed this one and maybe it sparked some ideas for you.

I also have another box card set for sale in my Etsy shop that is not Christmas themed; feel free to stop by!

Thanks!
Rina
