Explosion boxes are so much fun. You can add pictures, journaling notes or other mementos and give to someone special to brighten their day. This box is no different and since I have started drinking so much tea lately I thought this would be the perfect theme.

I used the “Tea Party” card stock pack from Craft Smith and cut the explosion box and panels on my Cricut Explore. The teacup came from the Silhouette store.
The explosion box is 4 x 3 7/8 when closed and when open and fully extended, it is approximately 15 1/2 by 15 1/2 inches.
The center of the box has a cute teacup with tulle and rose decoration with pop out “You’re My Cup of Tea” and Tea cup embellishments.
I hope you enjoyed my project.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Such a beautiful project! The rose and tulle in the middle make it that much more elegant. I have always wanted to do an explosion box with something in the middle.
