I am going to be starting my Tuesday Planner Series this month so you can DIY your own embellished paperclips, planner stickers, and tons of other great accessories. Check out the what I just added to my planner! I love it!!!!
I used Gold Oracle 651 vinyl and the font I used is Angelonia from the January Jam Packed Bundle from the Hungry JPEG. I installed the font and the cut this out on my Cricut Explore.
Today’s share is not a project but an unboxing. I received my Silhouette Mint in the mail and here is the unboxing. I bought this package from Overstock on Cyber Monday. I had a coupon that made it just a bit of a better deal than the Sil store.
I know, it’s supposed to be Mini Album Monday but today I am breaking the rules…well not by too much though because this Christmas Explosion box is a memory keeper as well! I just finished this Christmas Explosion Box yesterday and am so excited to share it with you. The lid is embellished with a glittery poinsettia, greenery and of course ribbon with a cute tag.
The inside of this explosion box has a cute Christmas scene complete with Christmas tree embellished with lights and sitting on top of a Doily for a tree skirt and is surrounded by presents.
There are 26 spots for pictures, journaling or adding other mementos. This would be a great way to document Christmas 2015 or Christmas past.
Thanksgiving is so close and I have so many things on my to do list that I still haven’t done! At least one thing I can check off my to do list are these super cute and easy Thanksgiving Paperbag Cards I finished for my nieces & nephews. I won’t get to see them for Thanksgiving but I wanted to send them a card and a little treat. The front of these cards are layered with Close to My Heart White Daisy Paper and Anna Griffin Halloween Paper. The Turkey images are from the Silhouette Design Store and the Happy Thanksgiving Sentiment is from Cricut Design Space.
The inside of the card is stamped with “Enjoy” and it is from Close to My Heart Perfect Picture Cricut Collection (D1681). This stamp is from the Cricut Artisty Collection which is awesome.
Here they are completely stuffed with goodies!

I am a note taker and a to do list maker but most of all I want to be able to keep all of my papers together but have whatever binder or planner I am keeping them in to be cute. Today’s project share is just that, it’s a Pad Folio. It holds a regular sized writing pad that can be replaced over and over. It is made with Kraftex Binding so is built for wear and tear. I absolutely adore the different designer paper and it is so nice to carry around.
There is a also a pocket on the inside that holds 8 1/2 by 11 sized paper, you know for all the handouts you want to keep from a meeting and such.
I have a few available in my etsy shop and of course can make a custom pad folio just for you!
Coming Soon! I am super excited about the Close to My Heart Planner that will be available on December 1st. I know that planning and organizing is an essential part of the day and this planner is not only super cute and functional but it will also be a high quality product that only Close to My Heart can deliver!
New Blog Series! Once I have my planner I will start a Tuesday series on DIY Planner embellishments! Stayed tuned to learn how to make your own planner stickers, flags, rose paperclips and more! Some embellishments will be made with the Cricut Explore, some with the Silhouette and some just with my paper cutter and ATG gun. You can read more about the new CTMH Planner here-http://blog.closetomyheart.com/2015/11/02/plan-ahead/
It’s Mini Album Monday! Okay, okay so I got a little carried away last week. I was fortunate enough to be off from work to celebrate Veteran’s Day and the next day I kept thinking it was Monday so that is why it was mini album Monday on Thursday of last week. Oops! Today’s mini album is a 6×6 chipboard mini with room for 4×6 photos or smaller and lots of space for journaling and additional embellishing. There are 6 chipboard pages for a total of 10 pages and it has wire binding. I really like this paper collection so didn’t add to many embellishments as I didn’t want to cover any of it.
I hope you enjoyed my project & thanks for stopping by! Rina
